Movements Origins

Born out of the anti-feminist movement, MGTOW (”Men Going Their Own Way”) is a way of life which refuses to defer to women in defining the worth of men. Instead, it focuses on positive male aspects, inviting men to go their own way in life. This new movement is growing in numbers as more men become anti-feminists due to the social system in which they live.

Core Beliefs

The goal is to instill masculinity in men, femininity in women, and establish a limited government! By instilling masculinity in men, we make men self-reliant, proud, and independent. By instilling femininity in women, we make them nurturing, supporting, and responsible. By working for a limited government, we are working for freedom and justice. Whilst women do have other qualities besides the ones listed above, it is believed that society is best served by nuturing feminine qualities within women whilst leaving the masculine qualities to men. MGTOW believes this will create a complementary balance between the sexes that is currently missing, and thus allow society to regain the sanity it has currently lost. MGTOW believes it’s a small price to pay for women to enjoy masculinity in men and vice-versa. This is the aim of “Men Going Their Own Way”. By holding this point of view, we are helping other men and, more importantly, we are helping boys grow up to become men. It is the view of MGTOW that socialism and big government has purposely created a society and voting system that pitted various sectors of society against one another. This has created a situation where large special interest groups can interfere with the affairs of others, such as the feminist movement’s attempt to destroy masculinity. With limited government, the need to vote on other people’s affairs will be rendered null and void thus making it impossible for political organisms and ideologies to impose their will on all people. It is important for men to have a practical approach to implementing our strategies. PRIME STRATEGIES THAT COMPLEMENT OUR PRODUCT AND GOAL We have 3 main strategies:

1. Instilling masculinity in men by:
   • Demanding respect for men
   • Serving as good male role models
   • Living independent lives
   • Fighting any chivalry that demands no accountability from women
2. Instilling femininity in women

MGTOW will hold everyone equally accountable, especially women as MGTOW believes that women currently have a protective shield around themselves which allows them to deflect blame because of their gender. MGTOW will then ignore or shun those who refuse accountability. Thus we bring about a complementary balance between the sexes instead of a competitive position as is now the case.

• Responsibility
• Respectfulness
• Honesty

1. Limiting government

In order to be independent of society, and live within it, while at the same time work for limiting governmental influence upon our daily lives, men will:

• Go Their Own Way
• Support other men
• Legally reduce any taxpaying
• Truthfully act out any duties in accordance with their conscience
• Use any rights to the benefit of other men as well as themselves

Core political beliefs

MGTOW men are by and large libertarians who want limited government. The reasons for this are many:

Destruction of Feminism - No Feminism without Big Government

Feminism as a politically empowered organism can only exist under a system of Big Government; small non-intrusive government completely nullifies its power. When government is able to tax citizens for any number of alleged purposes the populace naturally becomes divided into mutually competitive hostile organisms in an effort to manipulate the direction of government revenues toward their benefit. These organisms come into existence in the form of special interest groups due to this disagreement, with the most ruthless and nefarious groups often rising above the others. This system enables politicians to purchase the votes of those within or supporting said special interest group[s] by distribution of the revenue stolen from taxpayers toward their group, strengthening their own position at the expense of taxpayers. The complete eradication of feminism or similar special interest groups will at best remain only temporary unless a severe reduction in taxable targets are enforced, thus resulting in a substantial reduction in the size of government. The reconstitution of feminism becomes inevitable however as long as government continues to hold the confiscatory power to expropriate incomes, whether upon the individual or business, effectively politicizing both individual and entrepreneur. Under such conditions both groups find themselves dependent upon government, knowingly or otherwise, competing against one another in a destructive effort to plunder taxpayer dollars toward their benefit. Individuals must compete for how their taxes are spent, effectively transforming them into beggars at the doors of a thief. With the population sufficiently divided against itself; too busy engaging in wars upon one another rather than against its true enemy Big Government, the latter becomes an increasingly powerful organism able to manipulate the populace to its bidding. Under these circumstances compulsory public education forces the population into a situation of reeducation by government funded upon the backs of taxpayers. The politically favored special interest groups effectively solidify a cycle of continued class warfare while politicians reap the benefits.

No Big government means no Monopolies

Extremely wealthy entrepreneurs can support political campaigns in return for increased regulatory controls in an effort to receive economic favors on the part of supported politicians. This effectively reduces market competition, the end result ending in oligopolies or perhaps even outright monopolies for such favored industries/corporations. Corporate welfare is also often granted to politically favored corporations during times the latter suffers from economic duress. Taxpayer money is simply handed over to such favored businesses. This results in carelessly wasted capital as entrepreneurs may take reckless chances without suffering the repercussions of such mistakes since this burden falls to the taxpayer. Entrepreneurs, when the masses have been reeducated by an economically empowered special interest group such as feminism by the public school system, must then appeal to the newly indoctrinated masses by the creation of advertisements and products that support the popular belief regardless of how erroneous the beliefs of such an empowered special interest group may be.

Small Government as the Trail to Liberty

Under a government whose limitations are exhibited only in the protection of property rights and against foreign invaders can politico-economic support or enforcement of the feminist ideology onto the populace remain impossible, preventing the divide between said populace. Men and women will not suffer the indoctrination of government-enforced ideologies that cause the sexes to remain continually embittered to one another. This system of self-reliance enables, even forces the sexes to work together under the banner of liberty for the benefit of one another since government must refrain from interference due to an insufficient revenue stream that would otherwise support special interests for politico-economic gain. Human beings then become dependent on themselves and one another instead of a distant omnipotent government which does not have the best interests of the people in mind. The removal of the central bank as well as the reimplementation of a commodity-based currency must be created for small government to become a reality. All currency must be 100% backed by a commodity; gold perhaps the best candidate, for it acts as a regulatory control upon government’s ability to spend since all paper currency must be completely backed by gold and the mining of this commodity requires substantial time. This monetary system prevents government from the printing of fiat money, the latter acting as a stealth tax upon the entire savings of individuals. As previously noted government must be stripped of its virtual monopoly on education. This is an absolute necessity for the creation of a liberty-based society. Education under government amounts to little more than indoctrination centers for children who learn to tow the favored special interest as well as government line. Opposing viewpoints are typically either dismissed or barred outright from discussion, effectively translating into a system where students are instructed as to what to think rather than how to think. Private or home education will allow for a variety of ideas to be presented and analyzed, forcing the destruction of the current monopoly government holds over the youth and thus freeing the individual into adulthood.

Government as Husband

Despite claims to the contrary modern woman still remains as dependent a creature as at any point in history. Under the current politico-economic system women’s husband has gradually become government rather than an individual man, effectively transferring their previous dependence from a loving husband to a distant organism rather than creating any true independence for women that the feminists have fallaciously claimed to have offered or provided. Unfortunately feminism has only succeeded in creating animosity between males and females by removing any responsibility for the actions of the latter. With government as women’s current husband masculinity has effectively become demonized at the behest of feminists. Men have increasingly become viewed only valuable as cannon fodder for the imperialist ambitions of politicians and as a source of revenue for various branches of government, the family courts in particular, and narcissistic women. Woman therefore isn’t free but rather acts as a whore, metaphorically sleeping in bed with the desired politicians, selling her vote in return for special privileges: child support, alimony, affirmative action, and so forth. This isn’t independence but dependence, seemingly proving correct those who believe women cannot support themselves. With the increase of single mother homes, children have likewise become increasingly violent, medicated, and disillusioned with parental authority. Parents, knowingly or otherwise, increasingly depend upon government to raise their children. This situation politicizes the family unit creating a vast array of problems to the extent that most individuals are unaware as to how the current problems related to the family have managed to become so acute. This effectively obfuscates the individual answers that could otherwise restore the sanity within the family unit, bringing balance back into its structure. This would substantially reduce the abundance of artificially-created problems that currently plague much of western culture.

MGTOWs Political Solution.

It is imperative that the halls of education be removed from the clutches of government to prevent the continued programming government education has forced upon the human mind before any even the thoughts of a political solution to the current problem of Big Government can be mounted. Individuals must be instructed as to the advantages of small government otherwise the status-quo, regardless of political activism, shall remain. Unfortunately the Democrats and Republicans have effectively become so similar as to merge into a single entity, the Republicrats; perhaps not in name but in action as both parties support the expansion of government. The largest third party in America is the Libertarian Party. If desired this could provide a small government alternative to the Big Government policies of the Republican and Democratic parties. Should enough voters gravitate toward this third party option it may provide the necessary opposition to at least greatly hinder Republicrat power, and this even if the Libertarian Party is not voted into office. Though most individuals don’t realize it the sway of the voters still holds power over the political system. However it is the voters who continually support the current two-party system by not forcing it to face competition from an alternative party. Again however change can only be realistically expected if the minds of individuals are changed, for it is through the people that the current divides they suffer under can be alleviated while directing their newly acquired knowledge against the current semi-monopolist system.
